DropdownRoles

Let members pick roles from a Discord select menu.

DropdownRoles are simple — select the roles you want from a select menu, and the app gives you the selected roles and removes the deselected ones. Also known as SelectRoles.

Limits

Amount

  • Up to 5 DropdownRoles per message
  • Only works on the bot's own messages
  • Up to 25 roles per DropdownRole
  • Role names cannot exceed 100 characters

Labels & Display

  • Emojis and custom labels can only be set in the Bulk Setup
  • Label character limit is 100
  • Placeholder character limit is 100

Requirements

A minimum of 2 roles is required to create a DropdownRole.
  • Role(s) must be below the bot's highest role
  • The bot must have MANAGE_ROLES, EMBED_LINKS, and MANAGE_MESSAGES permissions

    Select the roles to include

    Provide the message URL of the target message

    Send the command
